There is a fascinating and broad range of specialty deli products.
For example, nigella seeds are an Indian spice (also called kalonji or black cumin), made famous by, but not named after, Nigella Lawson, star of Nigella Bites on ABC TV. She found them in a "pulse quickening food shop" in New York. She can also find them at Lipscombe Larder.
A large range of Australian and imported coffees are available, including organic varieties.
